Symptoms

An LDAP error is reported if the server is configured to use an Authorizer DN.

Impact

This did not comply with the customer's security requirements.

Cause

The Gateway does not allow the user to configure an Authoriser DN. The MDM and LIA include this option.

Resolution

Don't use an Authorizer DN with the affected versions.

3.0.x, 3.5, 3.5.1, 3.5.1.1
