Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager bruges til at beskytte vSphere-miljøet med TSDM-løsningen (Transparent Snapshot Data Mover). Sikkerhedskopierne af den virtuelle maskine (VM) fungerede korrekt og begyndte derefter at mislykkes med statussen ABV0025 afslutning.

The VM Direct engine cannot complete protection of this virtual machine because the protection configuration was unsuccessful.

Review the error details and summary log in the Jobs window, or review the log files at /var/log/brs/vmdm for more detailed information to troubleshoot the issue.

Cause

PowerProtect Data Manager bruger oprindeligt et af administrationsnetværkene til at oprette forbindelse til Data Domain og bestemme destinationsstien til sikkerhedskopiering af sikkerhedskopieringen. PowerProtect Data Manager-enheden kan ikke kommunikere via et af de "Management"-netværk, der er konfigureret i Data Domain Storage-netværksindstillingerne. Administrationsindstillingen blev valgt for en Data Domain-grænseflade, der ikke kunne dirigeres til PowerProtect Data Manager, og som var beregnet til dataformål.

Resolution

PowerProtect Data Manager kræver administrationskommunikationsfunktioner til Data Domain. 

Data Domain Storage-netværksindstillingerne kan opdateres med kun administrationsnetværk, der kan dirigeres til PowerProtect Data Manager-enheden. Konfigurationen kan ændres under Infrastructure > Storage > Data Domain > Flere handlinger > ændrer netværksindstillinger.
