出于故障排除目的，Citrix 支持人员可能会要求禁用 EDT 并使用 TCP 而不是 UDP 测试连接。出于测试目的，可以在瘦客户端上禁用 EDT，而不是在服务器虚拟桌面加速器 （VDA） 级别禁用。
EDT 是在用户数据报协议 （UDP） 之上构建的 Citrix 专有传输协议。它可在具有挑战性的长途连接上提供卓越的用户体验，同时保持服务器的可扩展性。EDT 提高了不可靠网络上所有 ICA 虚拟通道的数据吞吐量，从而提供更好、更一致的用户体验。
