Overzicht

GoIDPA is een opdrachtregelinterface (CLI)-tool die is geschreven in de programmeertaal "Go".
De naam "Goidpa" komt van de combinatie van "Go" en "IDPA".
Periodiek worden er nieuwe functies toegevoegd aan GoIDPA.

OPMERKING: Een Dell Business-account is vereist om de GoIDPA-tool te downloaden.

De Goidpa-tool installeren

1. Kopieer het bestand goidap.zip naar de map /data01 op de IDPA Appliance Configuration Manager (ACM).
2. Meld u aan bij de ACM als root met SSH/PUTTY en ga naar de map /data01.
3 Pak het bestand .zip uit met de volgende opdracht:

unzip goidpa.zip

4. Verwijder het .zip-bestand na het uitpakken met de volgende opdracht:

rm goidap.zip

5. Voeg uitvoerbare machtigingen toe aan het uitgepakte bestand met de volgende opdracht:

chmod +x goidpa

6 Voer de Goidpa-tool uit met de volgende opdracht:

./goidpa

 

Commandostructuur

Goidpa heeft het root-commando "GoIDPA" en subcommando's gekoppeld aan hun eigen set vlaggen. 
 

Command line tool for IDPA.

Usage:
  goidpa [command]

Available Commands:
  appliance   Command line tool for IDPA.
  avamar      Menu for Avamar operations
  dd          Menu for Data Domain operations
  dpa         Menu for DPA  operations
  dpc         Menu for DPC  operations
  dpsearch    Menu for DP Search operations
  esx         Menu for ESX operations
  help        Help about any command
  vcenter     Menu for vCenter operations
  version     Displays the GOIDPA version information.

Flags:
  -d, --debug      debug output
  -f, --force      Ignore Configuration
  -h, --help       help for goidpa
  -n, --noheader   Do not display header

Use "goidpa [command] --help" for more information about a command.

Krijg een lijst van de sub-commando's met "./goidpa <commando>.

./goidpa appliance

Hulp krijgen voor elke opdracht met de algemene vlag "-h".
