Users can reset the thin client to factory default settings using the G key reset feature. By default the feature is enabled.
To reset the thin client to factory default settings:- Restart the thin client
- Continuously tap the G key during the restart process until you hear a beep sound.
- Go to Advanced > Personalization > Shortcut Keys from the Wyse Management Suite policy settings or the Admin Policy Tool
- Disable the Enable G key to Reset Device to Factory.
- An Auto discovery to the Wyse Management Suite (WMS) like setting up a DNS SRV or DHCP option tag is recommended to the customer.
