  • 장애 세트가 사용 중이며 여러 SDS가 동시에 PMM을 종료합니다.

영향

PMM을 종료하는 동안 SDC 클라이언트에서 관찰되는 일시적인 볼륨 레이턴시

Cause

PMM에서 나가는 동안 콤이 정지되어 I/O 작업이 차단됩니다. 대기 시간은 주로 시스템이 비트맵을 강화하는 raidComb_EndExitPmmInter 함수의 마지막 단계에서 발생합니다.
이 작업은 일반적으로 빠르게 진행되지만, 이 경우 많은 수의 콤이 관련되어 있기 때문에 지연이 더 두드러지며, 전체 장애 세트가 동시에 PMM을 빠져나가기 때문일 수 있습니다. 따라서 보안 강화 단계에서 여러 콤이 발생할 가능성이 높아져서 SDC 클라이언트에서 관찰되는 레이턴시에 미치는 영향이 증폭됩니다.

Resolution

이 문제를 방지할 수 있는 해결 방법은 다음과 같습니다.

  • IMM(Instant Maintenance Mode)을 사용합니다.
  • 한 번에 하나의 SDS에서만 PMM을 종료합니다.
