Symptoms

環境：

  • 多層導向器交換器 （MDS） 9000 硬體與 IPStorage 介面
  • MDS 9250i
  • MDS 9220i
  • MDS 9700 搭配 1/10/40G IPS、2/4/8/10/16G FC 模組 DS-X9334-K9

Error message:

%SYSMGR-2-SERVICE_CRASHED: Service "snmpd" (PID 123) hasn't caught signal 6 (core will be saved).

Cause

透過提供邏輯區塊介面到快閃記憶體裝置， snmpd 記憶體洩漏輪詢 IPStorage 介面收發器

Resolution

因應措施：
若要避免 signal 6 crash、 監控 SNMP 服務記憶體使用方式，並在 MemUsed 達到 MemLimit 的 90% 之前，以非中斷的方式重新載入交換器，以便進行光纖交換器和導控器級交換的系統切換：

show processes memory | include "PID|snmpd"

導控器開關： system switchover 
光纖交換器： reload system non-disruptive 

SNMP 服務會在系統停止後自動重新開機，且不會中斷。

定：
升級至 NX-OS 9.4.4
