Instructions
The qualifier creditCacheRetention specifies the amount of time (in minutes) when the credential cache refreshes or times out. This parameter has a default value of 15 minutes.
The following command verifies the details of each NFS export:
15:23:40 service@FNMXXXXX spa:~/user# uemcli /net/nas/nfs show -detail
1: ID = nfs_1
NAS server = nas_1
NFSv3 enabled = yes
NFSv4 enabled = no
Hostname =
Secure NFS enabled = no
Kerberos Domain Controller type =
Service principal name =
Extended Unix credentials enabled = no
Credentials cache retention = 15m
2: ID = nfs_2
NAS server = nas_2
NFSv3 enabled = yes
NFSv4 enabled = no
Hostname =
Secure NFS enabled = no
Kerberos Domain Controller type =
Service principal name =
Extended Unix credentials enabled = no
Credentials cache retention = 15m
3: ID = nfs_12
NAS server = nas_12
NFSv3 enabled = no
NFSv4 enabled = yes
Hostname =
Secure NFS enabled = no
Kerberos Domain Controller type =
Service principal name =
Extended Unix credentials enabled = no
Credentials cache retention = 15m
The next commands change the Credentials cache retention qualifier and confirm the new value. For this example, nfs_1 is modified.
15:23:50 service@FNMXXXXX spa:~/user# uemcli /net/nas/nfs -id nfs_1 set -credCacheRetention 20
ID = nfs_1
Operation completed successfully.
15:28:27 service@FNMXXXXX spa:~/user# uemcli /net/nas/nfs -id nfs_1 show -detail
1: ID = nfs_1
NAS server = nas_1
NFSv3 enabled = yes
NFSv4 enabled = no
Hostname =
Secure NFS enabled = no
Kerberos Domain Controller type =
Service principal name =
Extended Unix credentials enabled = no
Credentials cache retention = 20mAdditional Information
