Connectrix Brocade: "Processor opnieuw opgestart - Softwarefout:ASSERT"

Síntomas

Switch is opnieuw opgestart vanwege de volgende fout:

Processor rebooted - Software Fault:ASSERT

 

Causa

De "Software Fault:ASSERT" is een softwareprobleem en het is gebeurd op CP1 (eerder actief) het is mislukt om over te gaan naar de andere CP 0 (eerder stand-by)
Het probleem zat in de routeringsservices, er werd een null-pointer ontvangen tijdens het ophalen van de gegevens.

Resolución

Een softwarefout in routeringsservices veroorzaakte de fout bij Brocade-defect DEFECT000440968.
De oplossing voor het probleem is om de switch te upgraden naar FOS 7.4.x en hoger.
