The dnscache commands may give an error like the following:

# isi networks dnscache flush
localhost: RPC: Program not registered

Causa

DNS caching may be disabled.

Resolución

Check if DNS caching is disabled. 
OneFS 7.1-7.2
# isi networks | grep Caching
DNS Caching:         Disabled

OneFS 8.0 DNS Caching 
# isi network groupnets list
ID        DNS Cache Enabled  DNS Search  DNS Servers  Subnets
--------------------------------------------------------------
groupnet0 False               -           -            subnet0
--------------------------------------------------------------
 
 
You can ignore this error message if DNS caching is not needed or you can enable it.

OneFS 7.1-7.2
# isi networks dnscache enable

OneFS 8.0.0.x
# isi network groupnets modify <groupnet name> --dns-cache-enabled True
