Síntomas

Connection to NetWorker Server on Bare Metal Recovery (BMR) wizard fails with:

Error trying to validate NetWorker server credentials: No response from server
 

The time zone still shows as the default PST.

Causa

Time zone does not change from the default.

NetWorker 19.11 (or older) are impacted.

Resolución

This issue was addressed in NetWorker 19.12.0.0 and later.

Workaround

  1. On the BMR wizard "Welcome" window, change "The local time zone is:" Field to any time zone other than Pacific Standard time.
  2. Change at least one of the other fields "The current date is:" Or "The current time is:" There must be at least one other field modified with the Time zone field. Either set a new time or a new date.
  3. Click "Next" From the WinPE command line,
  4. Check that the time zone is correct with: reg query HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation
