Síntomas

Uso de autenticación Kerberos para LDAP en RecoverPoint.
 

Las implementaciones de LDAP que utilizan la configuración de autenticación de Kerberos o los inicios de sesión en RecoverPoint fallan.

En la test_ldap de la CLI, se muestra lo siguiente:

Causa

RecoverPoint utiliza un paquete llamado Common Security Toolkit (CST) para manejar la autenticación LDAP. CST no es compatible con la autenticación de Kerberos en ninguna versión.

Resolución

Solución alternativa:

Implemente LDAP mediante SSL (LDAPS) para mayor seguridad.

El producto funciona según lo esperado, ya que no se admite la autenticación Kerberos.
