Síntomas

De beveiligingsintegratie van NetWorker VMware is geconfigureerd met het vProxy-apparaat.  De back-upsessie mislukt met een van de volgende berichten:

Causa

De vProxy back-upworkflow schakelt de storagemigratie voor de virtuele machine uit aan het begin van de back-up en schakelt deze in zodra deze is voltooid.  De geconfigureerde gebruikersrol van VMware View (NSR Hypervisor) beschikt niet over voldoende machtigingen om de storagemigratie in of uit te schakelen.

Resolución

De vereiste minimale gebruikersrolmachtigingen worden gedocumenteerd in het gedeelte "Creating a dedicated vCenter user account and EMC Backup and Recovery role" van de Dell NetWorker VMware Integration Guide.  Om te controleren welke machtigingen het vCenter-gebruikersaccount ontbreekt, kan het hulpprogramma ProxyHC worden gebruikt:

De syntaxis om machtigingen te bevestigen is:  
./ProxyHC perm
