Följande fel kan ses i ESXi-uppgraderingsloggen på ACM på sökvägen ”/data01/tmp/patch/logs”:

Causa

”vmware-perccli-007.0529.0000.0000_007.0529.0000.0000-01” VIB installerad på ESXi-värden orsakar det här problemet

Resolución

Steg 1. Anslut med SSH till den aktuella ESXi-värden.

Steg 2. Kör följande kommando för att avinstallera VIB där en konflikt har uppstått:
  • esxcli software vib remove --vibname vmware-perccli-007.0529.0000.0000
Exempel på utdata:
[Rot@esx1:~] excli software vib remove --vibbname vmware-perccli-007.0529.0000.0000
Borttagningsresultat

Steg 3. Kontrollera att VIB togs bort:
  • esxcli software vib list|  grep -i perccli
Obs! Kommandot ovan ska visa tomma utdata om VIB togs bort. 

Steg 4. Försök utföra ESXi-uppgraderingen från ACM-gränssnittet igen.
