Client direct backups for z/Linux clients fails with the error:
 
"103062:save: Loading the library at 'libDDBoost.so' failed ([2] libDDBoost.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory). Refer to the product release notes to ensure Data Domain devices are supported on this platform."

Is zLinux supported for DDBoost and Data Domain and NetWorker client direct file access save? 

NetWorker for LINUX on zLinux 8.2.4
Data Domain. 5.7 and above
DDBoost 5.4 and above

Causa

zLinux is incompatible with Data Domain client direct. The requisite software for client direct file access save is not incorporated in the NetWorker for LINUX on zLinux package.

Resolución

DDboost is not supported on z/Linux clients running NetWorker 8.2.4.x, DDBoost 5.4 and above and Data Domain.
