Síntomas

Arreglo actualizado a la versión de firmware 5.0.2 de DELL Unity OE.

Después de actualizar el arreglo a la versión de firmware 5.0.2 del entorno operativo de Dell Unity, es posible que el arreglo Unity comience a informar el mensaje de advertencia:

The maximum number of file-based snapshots allowed will be reached in XX day(s) and XXhour(s). The current percentage is XX of the maximum size.

From /EMC/backend/log_shared/EMCSystemLogFile.log también contiene los mensajes de advertencia:

Causa

Los siguientes dos mensajes se agregaron a la versión de firmware 5.0.2 de DELL Unity OE:

14:600038 - The maximum number of file-based snapshots allowed will be reached in (a) day(s) and (b) hour(s). The current percentage is (c) of the maximum size.
14:600039 - The predicted number of file-based snapshots is no longer expected to reach the maximum. The predicted peak percentage is (a) of the maximum size.

 

Resolución

Este comportamiento es normal y "funciona según lo diseñado".

 

Información adicional

Nota: Estos no son mensajes de error, sino mensajes de alerta proactivos para que el administrador de Dell Unity actúe antes de alcanzar el límite máximo de conteo interno de instantáneas.
