ESXiログの収集方法

vc-supportを収集する方法 

  1. SSHでvCSAにログインします。

  2. デフォルトではアプライアンス シェルにログインするため、 shell.set --enabled True command と shell コマンドを実行して Bash を起動します。

  • 次のコマンド： vc-support -l コマンドを使用して vc-support ログ バンドルを作成します。
    収集が完了したら、次のようになります。
    コマンド実行時に表示される名前でログ バンドルが作成されていることを確認します。
    この記事では、「/storage/log/vc-vcsaxxxxx.xxxxxxx.local-2019-02-27-02.02-47743.tgz」がログ バンドル名です。

  • SCPを使用してvCSAにログインし、作成したvc-supportログ バンドルをマシンにコピーします。

    注：WinSCPをSCPツールとして使用する場合は、 chsh -s /bin/bash root コマンドを使用してvCSAのデフォルト シェルをBashシェルに変更し、WinSCPを使用します(Bashの起動後に手順2で実行)。
    デフォルトのシェルをアプライアンスシェルに戻す場合は、 chsh -s /bin/appliancesh root に指定します。

  • コピーしたvc-supportログ バンドルをDellテクニカル サポートに送信します。
