Instrucciones

1. Connect to the Rear Serial Port

To create a console connection:

    1. Connect your management workstation to the rear serial port of the DD3300 using a null‑modem cable.
    2. Open a terminal emulation program on the workstation and configure the following communication settings:
Setting Value
Baud rate 115200
Data bits 8
Stop bits 1
Parity None
Flow control None
Emulation  VT-100

2. Access the System Console

Follow these steps to log in:

    1. Verify that the front blue power LED is ON.
      • If not, check that all power cables are fully seated and AC power is available.
    2. Press Enter to activate the console session.
    3. Log in using the sysadmin username:
localhost.localdomain login: sysadmin
    1. When prompted for the password, enter the system serial number.
Password: <system_serial_number>

The system serial number (PSNT) can be found:

    • On the service tag at the front of the chassis
    • On the rear handle (if equipped with a rear‑mounted PSNT tag)

3. Password and Login Behavior

  • The default sysadmin password is the system serial number.
  • If an incorrect password is entered four consecutive times, the account may be locked for 120 seconds by default.
  • After successful login, it may take up to 5 minutes for console messages to appear.

Información adicional

Note: You must have a 115200-baud rate for the system to work correctly; 9600-baud rate does not work.
