PowerFlex 3.6: SCLI Error: "One Of The Cluster Nodes Failed Loading The LDAP Library"

- One or more of the Manager MDMs is running on SLES 15.x.

- When running the switch_cluster_mode command or setting authentication to use LDAP, this error is seen:

# scli --switch_cluster_mode --cluster_mode 3_node --add_slave_mdm_name mdm2 --add_tb_name tb
Error: MDM failed command.  Status: One of the cluster nodes failed loading the LDAP library

# scli --set_user_authentication_method --native_and_ldap_authentication
Error: MDM failed command.  Status: One of the cluster nodes failed loading the LDAP library

- The trc log for the SLES 15.x Manager MDM shows the following:

Impact 

Inability to use LDAP authentication or even switch MDM ownership to the new MDM Manager.

SLES 15.x uses an LDAP library named differently than what the MDM is looking for. In trying to load the wrong file, it fails to find and load the LDAP library.

This issue can be worked around by creating a link from the correct LDAP library to the one the MDM needs.

Run this command on the SLES 15.x Manager MDM where this issue is present:

ln -s /usr/lib64/libldap_r-2.4.so.2.10.9 /usr/lib64/libldap-2.4.so.2

The commands that were failing before will now work.
