PowerFlex 5.1: Export Compliance PDF report generation timeout
Résumé: PDF compliance report generation fails with a timeout and an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException error in PowerFlex Manager 5.1.0.0. To restore PDF functionality, PFMP must be upgraded.
Symptômes
When attempting to perform the Export Reports function, PowerFlex Manager hangs when attempting to create a PDF compliance report. After clicking Export, the UI remains on the Loading Reports screen and eventually times out.
The following error appears in the asmmanager logs:

Impact
Users are unable to export compliance information as PDF, which may delay reporting activities but does not affect core storage operations.
Cause
A limitation in the PDF report generation process can cause failures when certain component names contain special characters. Under specific conditions, these characters may interfere with how report data is processed during PDF creation, preventing the report from being generated successfully.
Résolution
There is currently No Workaround Available. Upgrade PowerFlex Manager to 5.2, where PDF export will function correctly.
