Resources showing functionality and features for PowerFlex in OME/Plugin
- Configuring OpenManage Enterprise | Deployment Guide - PowerFlex
- This link brings up a guide that covers the PowerFlex solution and the PowerEdge MX7000. The guide states everything from the perspective of the MX7000, but it is the correct documentation for the PowerFlex solution.
- Software Requirements | Installation Guide - OpenManage Enterprise
- Always reference this resource directly for the most recent information.
- The Plug-in uses the PowerFlex Gateway as the main data collection target for PowerFlex monitoring operations. The target connects to the PowerFlex using its PowerFlex Gateway for data collection. A PowerFlex administrator can provide the IP address or host, the port number, username, and password of the Gateway to use during configuration of the PowerFlex target.
- Only the Software Defined Compute nodes (SDC) on bare metal/physical server is supported. (2026-Jan-05)
- The SDC node name should match with the host target name in Oracle EM. SDC nodes can be renamed using PowerFlex presentation console.
- The solution relies on PowerFlex Gateway REST APIs and requires that the API responds with unique non-null SDCs names and that it should match with the host target name.
OpenManage Enterprise plugin for Dell AIOps Support Version and Documentation
- Issue: AIOps: Server devices are added to the OpenManage Enterprise Plugin for AIOps

As an example, the PowerFlex may show up in AIOps UI as "PowerFlex"
- Support for OpenManage Enterprise Dell AIOps Infrastructure Observability Plugin
- The plugin provides the delivery of PowerEdge configuration, status, and telemetry data by Dell OpenManage Enterprise (OME) into Dell AIOps.
