Sintomi

Virtuaalikoneen tuotannon tarkistuspisteitä ei voi suorittaa. Virhe on:

"Production checkpoints cannot be created for...".

Varmuuskopiointi epäonnistuu. Virhe on:

 "Production checkpoints cannot be created for..."


Lokit ilmoittavat, että VSS-palvelu ei ole käynnissä:

VMWare Servers can show "Get-VMIntegrationService -VMName "XXXX" shows lost comm for VSS".

Causa

Säännölliset Windows Server -päivitykset ja käyttöjärjestelmätiedostojen vioittuminen vaikuttavat yleisimmin Volume Shadow Copy Service -virheeseen.   

Risoluzione

Ohjeet:
Alla on komentosarja, joka on suunniteltu tekemään tiedostojen nollaus VSS (Volume Shadow Copy) -palvelussa.
1. Kopioi kaikki yläreunan alareunan alapuolelta alareunan yläpuolelle muistiotiedostoon.
2. Tallenna tiedosto nimellä "RESET_VSS_SCRIPT.BAT" ja suorita järjestelmänvalvojan komentoikkunassa.
