Reimpostazione del servizio Copia Shadow virtuale

Sintomi

Impossibile eseguire i checkpoint di produzione della macchina virtuale. L'errore è:

"Production checkpoints cannot be created for...".

I backup non riescono. L'errore è:

 "Production checkpoints cannot be created for..."


I log segnalano che il servizio VSS non è in esecuzione:

VMWare Servers can show "Get-VMIntegrationService -VMName "XXXX" shows lost comm for VSS".

Causa

Gli aggiornamenti periodici di Windows Server e il danneggiamento dei file che coinvolgono i file del sistema operativo contribuiscono più comunemente all'errore del servizio Copia Shadow del volume.   

Risoluzione

Istruzioni:
di seguito è riportato uno script progettato per eseguire un ripristino dei file per il servizio
Copia Shadow del volume (VSS).1. Copia tutto da sotto il bordo superiore a sopra il bordo inferiore in un file blocco note.
2. Salvare il file con il nome "RESET_VSS_SCRIPT.BAT" ed eseguire in una finestra di comando amministrativa.
 

rem Rename FILENAME to RESET_VSS_SCRIPT.BAT
rem Run script in Administrator command window
