While using your computer, the volume may intermittently increase to 100 percent. This issue does not happen when the DDPM is deactivated or uninstalled.

Affected Versions:

  • DDPM version 2.1.0.20
  • DDPM version 2.1.0.23

An issue has been identified in the audio implementation of DDPM.

Dell has added a solution in DDPM version 2.1.0.24, ensure that your DDPM application is updated to the latest version.

How to update DDPM:

  1. Launch the DDPM application.
  2. In the upper right corner, select the Gear Icon Dell Display and Peripheral Manager Gear Icon
  3. Go to the Updates section and the update for the DDPM or any other devices would be listed there.

  1. Launch the DDPM application.
