  • OptiPlex All-in-One 7410 (with Dell ThinOS)
  • OptiPlex All-in-One Plus 7410 (with Dell ThinOS)
  • OptiPlex All-in-One 7420 (with Dell ThinOS)
  • Wyse 5470 Mobile
  • Wyse 5470 All-in-One
  • Wyse 5070 
  • Wyse 3040
  • Latitude 3440 (with Dell ThinOS)
  • Latitude 5440 (with Dell ThinOS)
  • Latitude 5450 (with Dell ThinOS)
Note:
  • Latitude and OptiPlex AIO service motherboards may have no defined BIOS password.
  • Devices shipped with the Ubuntu operating system have a blank password by default.

To enter the BIOS, follow these steps:

  1. Slowly tab the F2 key immediately after turning on until the BIOS screen appears.
Note: If the operating system splash screen appears, the attempt was unsuccessful.
  1. Enter the password Fireport (case sensitive), then press the Enter key.

You should now be able to make any required BIOS changes.

Note: Wyse Management Suite generates a compliance error if no BIOS password is defined or the default Fireport BIOS password is in use.
