Instruktioner

Dell replaces monitors with an advanced exchange warranty process. When a replacement monitor arrives return the original monitor in the packaging the monitor replacement arrived in. Items that are returned in addition to the monitor vary on the monitor model and configuration.

Replacement displays often arrive with the stand and/or cables and other peripheral items. Replacements may also arrive as a bare monitor.

Any stands, cables, covers, adapters, or other peripherals that are included with the replacement monitor should be returned with the old monitor.

Example scenarios:

  • If the replacement monitor is a bare monitor, only return the bare original monitor.
  • If the replacement monitor includes a stand, return the original monitor and the original stand.
  • If the replacement monitor includes any combination of peripherals/cables/covers/adapters, return the original monitor and the equivalent original peripherals/cables/covers/adapters.

Monitor service entitlements warrant the LCD display, stand, power adapter, and included cables for any manufacturing defects though the life of the service agreement.

How to pack the returned hardware:

  • The monitor display and the stand accessories should always be packaged separately.
  • Stand and accessories should never be placed on the display screen.
  • Always follow the packaging instructions on the box.
  • For OLED displays, the protective Mylar must be pasted on the screen to prevent scratches.
  • Ensure that the boxes are not damaged.

Accidental damage to the display screen or other components of a display are only covered on devices with accidental damage coverage.

Wear and tear including, but not limited to, cosmetic issues that have no effect on the functionality of the display are not warranted.
