When you download and install the Alienware Command Center from the Microsoft Store, all add-ons (Alien FX, OC Controls, etc.) are not installed correctly.

After you open Alienware Command Center, you will get a prompt about the missing add-ons. This prompt asks you for your Microsoft Store credentials, and after entering your information, the download will fail.

Microsoft changed the new Windows 10 builds that affect how the add-ons are downloaded, and this causes that add-ons installation to fail.

Supported Systems: Alienware and G-Series computers with Alienware Command Center Version 5.2 or higher

To solve this issue download and install Alienware Command Center from Dell Drivers & Downloads Page

  • Go to Dell Drivers & Downloads Page
  • Enter your Service Tag or click Detect PC. You can also click Browse all products to select your computer model manually
  • Look for Alienware Command Center Application from the list and click Download
  • Choose a location to save the file and click Save
  • Locate the downloaded file and double-click on it
  • Follow the On-Screen instructions
