Removing the camera

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery

    2. base cover

    3. hard drive assembly

    4. WLAN card

    5. memory

    6. keyboard

    7. palmrest

    8. display cable

    9. system fan

    10. system board

    11. power connector port

    12. display assembly

    13. display bezel

  3. To remove the camera:
    1. Disconnect the camera cable from the connector on the display assembly [1].
    2. Lift and remove the camera from the display assembly [2].
