Bus type of NVDIMMs displayed as Unknown
- Description:
- NVDIMMs are displayed as Unknown under Bus type in Windows Server 2016 storage spaces graphical interface.
- Workaround:
- This is a known issue in Windows Server 2016 and Microsoft is aware of this issue. This issue is planned to be fixed in future Windows updates. As a workaround, to view the Bus type of the NVDIMMs run the following shell command: Get-PhysicalDisk | fl
On running the above command, the correct Bus type for NVDIMMs is displayed: SCM.
