Procedure

  1. Peel off the tape that secures the display cable to the fan.
  2. Note the display-cable routing and remove the cable from the routing guides on the fan.

  3. Remove the screw (M1.6x3) that secures the fan to the palm-rest assembly.
  4. Lift the fan along with its cable off the palm-rest assembly.
