View the jobs list

Click OpenManage Enterprise > Monitor > Jobs, to view the list of existing jobs. Information such as job status, job type, and date-time are displayed. To view more information about a job, select a job and click View Details in the right pane. See View an individual job information.

Table 1. Job status and descriptionThis table describes various statuses that a job can be in.
Job StatusDescription
NewJob is created but not run.
RunningJob is triggered using Run Now
ScheduledJob is scheduled for run at a later date or time.
CompletedJob has run.
Completed with errorsJob run was partially successful and was completed with errors.
FailedJob run was unsuccessful.
StoppedJob run was interrupted by the user.

A job can belong to any one of the following types:

OpenManage Enterprise provides a built-in report to view the list of scheduled jobs. Click OpenManage Enterprise > Monitor > Reports > Scheduled Jobs Report. Click Run. See Run reports.

NOTE On the Discovery and Inventory Schedules pages, the status of a scheduled job is identified by Queued in the STATUS column. However, the same status is indicated as Scheduled on the Jobs page.
NOTE By default, only the Create tab is enabled to create new jobs. However, if you select a job from the list, the tabs to run, delete, enable, stop, and disable a job are enabled.
