SSPR Imprivata password reset using ThinOS

From ThinOS 10.x 2511, the Third-party Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) function is supported in both Imprivata PIW and PIE modes.

About this task

After completing the configuration steps, you can perform password resets directly through the integrated third-party SSPR page on the Imprivata login screen in ThinOS 10.x.

Steps

  1. Log in to WMS as an administrator.
  2. Go to Groups & Configs > Edit Policies > ThinOS 10.x.
  3. Upload the latest Imprivata package using WMS and push the required Imprivata configurtion on the device.
  4. Configure the following on the Imprivata server:
    • Go to Settings > Self-Service Password Reset.
    • Select Use your own Self-Service Utility.
    • Enter the third-party SSPR URL in the Self-Service URL field.
  5. Configure the following on the ThinOS client:
    • At the Imprivata login screen, click Forgot Password.
    • Reset the password and verify that the Self-Service Reset page opens with the configured third-party SSPR URL.
