Procedure

  • NOTE: The location and number of captive screws on the heat sink vary depending on the graphics configuration ordered.
  1. Slide the heat sink under the fan shroud and between the fan, and align the captive screws on the heat sink with the screw holes on the system board and display-assembly base.
  2. In sequential order (as indicated on the heat sink), tighten the captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board and display-assembly base. Image: Replacing the heat sink
