Ensure the availability of network IP addresses

When you expand your system, you must ensure that there are network IP addresses available for communication.

About this task

The IP address ranges cannot overlap and must be used exclusively for the static network defined. For example, you cannot create an IP address range of 10.10.10.1–10.10.10.100 and another range of 10.10.10.50–10.10.10.150.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Networks.
  2. Select the network on which you want to ensure that there are available IP addresses.
  3. Scroll to the Static IP Address Details field, and select Available IP Addresses from the View drop-down list.
