Removing camera

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
    3. WWAN card (optional)
    4. WLAN card
    5. display hinge cover
    6. display assembly
    7. display bezel
    8. display panel
  3. To remove the camera:
    1. Disconnect the camera cable from the connector [1].
    2. Lift the camera away from the display [2].

      NOTE: The following procedure is applicable only if your computer is a non-touch computer.
