Removing speaker

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
    3. WLAN card
    4. WWAN card (optional)
    5. hard drive assembly(optional)
    6. SSD card
    7. chassis frame
  3. Peel the adhesive tapes that secure the speaker cables [1] [2].

  4. Lift the speaker away from the computer.
