Setting the sysadmin privilege for Microsoft SQL hosts
To enable the integration with PowerProtect Data Manager on each Microsoft SQL host, the NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM account on each host requires the sysadmin privilege.

Steps
- Log in to each SQL instance, open the SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and select View > Object Explorer.
- In the Object Explorer, expand Security and then expand Logins.
- Right-click NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM, and then select Properties.
- In the Login properties window, select Server Roles.
- Select sysadmin under Server roles.
