Uninstall and clean up of Cloud Disaster Recovery resources

The uninstall option for Cloud Disaster Recovery is unavailable in the current version.

Configure the PowerProtect Data Manager server for DR backups as mentioned in Configure PowerProtect Data Manager server DR backups section of Dell EMC PowerProtect Data Manager Administration and User Guide , take a snapshot of the configuration. Use this snapshot to revert PowerProtect Data Manager to predeployment.

Once you revert to predeployment configuration, from Amazon Web Services console perform the tasks in the order that is presented to cleanup the cloud-based resources:

Delete all S3 buckets that were used as Cloud Disaster Recovery targets.	Deleting or emptying a bucket section on Amazon Simple Storage Service Developer Guide NOTE Perform this step only if the S3 buckets are not being used for purposes other than Cloud Disaster Recovery.
Unregister AMIs, and delete snapshots that Cloud Disaster Recovery server created for rapid recovery of VMs.	Deregistering your Linux AMI section on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud User Guide for Linux Instances Look for AMIs and snapshots where CDRS is displayed in the Created By tag name.
