Update Cloud Disaster Recovery
The on-premises component of Cloud DR is updated when you update PowerProtect Data Manager. PowerProtect Data Manager then triggers an update of the Cloud DR Server (CDRS), the cloud-based component. Active recovery operations can block this part of the update and may require a manual update of the CDRS.

The Cloud DR restore ova package is available in the virtual machine during the update process. This restore package can be used for VM failover to vCenter scenario.
NOTE Cloud DR operations are unavailable when the
PowerProtect Data Manager update process is in progress.
NOTE If the
PowerProtect Data Manager version and the CDRS version are mismatched, DR operations from the
PowerProtect Data Manager are not possible, but you can run disaster recovery from the CDRS UI.
