Removing the audio board
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the microSD card.
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the battery.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the audio board and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
- Disconnect and peel the audio board FFC from the system board.
- Remove the M2x2.5 screw that secures the audio board to the computer.
- Lift and remove the audio board from the computer.
