Installing the display assembly (for computers shipped with WWAN support)

CAUTION:The information in this installation section is intended for authorized service technicians only.

CAUTION:The maximum angle for the display hinge is 135 degrees.

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

The following images indicate the location of the display assembly and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.

Place the palm-rest and keyboard assembly at the edge of a flat table.
Open the hinges of the display assembly to a 90-degree angle.
Align the screw holes of the palm-rest and keyboard assembly with the screw holes on the hinges of the display assembly.
Replace the four (M2.5x4.5) screws to secure the left and right hinges to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
Connect the display cable to the connector (EDP) on the system board.
Close the latch and adhere the Mylar to the display connector (EDP) on the system board.
Connect the camera cable to the connector (MIPI) on the system board.
Close the latch and adhere the Mylar to the camera connector (MIPI) on the system board.
Route the Darwin cable and WWAN-antenna cables through the rubber routing guides on the I/O board and keyboard bracket.
Connect the Darwin cable to the connector (JANT1) on the I/O board.
