Installing the I/O-board cable (for computers shipped with WWAN support)

Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the I/O-board cable on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
NOTE:The I/O board cable is routed over the coin-cell battery cable, WLAN antenna cables, along the left of the system board, and then along the top-left side of the battery.

Steps
Connect the I/O-board cable to the connector (JIO1) on the I/O board and close the latch to secure the cable in place.
Route the I/O-board cable through the routing guides on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
Adhere the tape and connect the I/O-board cable to the connector (JIO1) on the system board.
Adhere the tape to secure the I/O-board cable to the connector (JIO1) on the I/O board.
