Procedure

  1. Using a plastic scribe, gently release the tabs that secure the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.
  2. Carefully turn the keyboard over and place it on the palm-rest assembly.

  3. Lift the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board.
  4. Lift the keyboard along with the cable off the palm-rest assembly.
