When adding or removing network adapters to OMIVV, the existing NICs disappear from the OMIVV console

Sometimes, when you add or remove a network adapter to the OMIVV appliance by using the vSphere Client, the existing NICs disappear from the OMIVV console.

Workaround: Perform any one of the following tasks:

    1. Remove all the work adapters from the terminal console utility.
    2. Shut down the appliance

    3. Remove the network adapters from the appliance.

    4. Reboot the OMIVV appliance.

    5. Shut down the appliance

    6. Add the required network adapter (s) and complete the network adapters configuration.

    7. Reboot the appliance.
    1. Back up OMIVV from Admin Portal

    2. Create an OMIVV appliance.

    3. Shut down the appliance

    4. Add the required network adapter (s) and complete the network adapters configuration.
    5. Reboot the appliance.
    6. Restore the latest backed up data.
