Configure global browser settings using WMS

Steps

  1. Log in to WMS.
  2. Go to Groups & Configs and select a group.
  3. Go to Edit Policies > ThinOS 10.x > Advanced > Browser Settings > Global Browser Settings.
  4. From the Browser User Mode drop-down list, select any of the following options:
    • Single User Mode—If you select this option, user history, cookies, and cache are cleared after you logout or restart.
    • Multi User Mode—If you select this option, user history, cookies, and cache are not cleared after you logout or restart.
  5. Enable the Download to USB Storage option to store the downloaded files, videos, and images in the USB drive. The USB drive should be connected to device to enable the option.
    You can access the files from the USB drive only.
    NOTE:When the Download to USB option is enabled without connecting the USB drive, a warning message is displayed when you try to download any files, videos, or images.
  6. From the Browser Data Directory Size (in MB) drop-down list, select any of the options.
    NOTE:You must sign out and reopen the browser to apply this update on the device. You must also open the terminal, take SSH, and run the command mount| tail -n 1.
  7. Click Save & Publish.
