Limitations
The following limitations are noted in ThinOS 10.x 2505:
- Ensure that the specified policy is enabled is set to True on the RDS server. For more information, see Remote Desktop Web Access troubleshooting.
- To set up or reset the password for Remote Desktop Web access:
- Open Server Manager on the server running RD Web Access. In the menu, go to .
- Go to . In the menu, select Application Settings, select the setting PasswordChangeEnabled, and change the value to True.
- ThinOS 10.x does not support firmware downgrade; however, it allows reverting to a previously installed version using the Last Known Good Configuration (LKG).
- Latitude 5550 - Intel Core Ultra 5 is not supported in ThinOS 10.x.
- The brightness adjustment of the integrated display for Dell Pro 16 Plus PB16250 is not supported using the keypad.
- Multiple Bluetooth headsets are not supported.
- If the device is in Sleep Mode and the user connects external USB device, the device does not wakeup. Press any key on the keyboard or move the mouse to wake the system.
- Few browser function limitation that is noticed in ThinOS 10.x 2505 are:

- Firmware upgrade support for the docks and monitors is limited to the following Dell
peripherals only:
- Dell Dock WD19
- Dell Dock WD22
- Dell Monitor U2724DE
- Notification popups are not supported for card readers and docking stations.
- Imprivata PIE mode on CV3+ devices does not detect palm rest fingerprint reader, contactless smartcard reader, or contact smartcard reader.
- Contactless smartcard readers are not supported on CV3 platforms.
