Verify software, hardware, and version requirements, and clear job queues before you run an LCM upgrade.

The following best practices should be followed before you run an LCM upgrade:

  • Turn off nonessential VMs.
  • Do not run LCM during peak production hours.
  • Check and detach the iDRAC virtual console on each node to be updated for the connected virtual media.
