Troubleshoot the LCM update

The following is a list of LCM known behaviors.

Issue Description
Inventory failure Stop the Nutanix Foundation Service. If the service is running from a shell, enter:

genesis stop foundation
Nutanix Foundation Service causes the LCM to fail This is an expected behavior because the LCM should not run during cluster expansion.
XC Core: Nutanix Life-Cycle Manager Fails to Update Mellanox CX4-Lx Firmware 14.22.xx.xx (and earlier) or Mellanox CX5 Firmware 16.22.xx.xx (and earlier) See KB 198051.
Prewarning for updates in power cycle host A prewarning displays indicating that a reboot is needed before updates are applied. No response is required.
iDRAC10 updated disabled for 17G iDRAC10 updates are disabled. You can manually update outside LCM.
