Auto-launch Customer Installed (CI) application
Describes how administrators can configure CI applications in ThinOS 10.x to start automatically at boot using WMS or APT, based on desktop file configuration.
About this task
Steps

To configure the auto-launch Customer Installed (CI) application feature, do
any of the following:
- Log in to WMS as an administrator, go to Groups & Configs, select a group, click Edit Policies, and go to .
- Open APT on the device and select .
- Go to .
- Enable Enhanced Mode and App Builder Mode, then click Save & Publish.
- Open App Builder from the taskbar.

Select Isolated Mode or Native
Mode, enter the application Name and
Version, and upload the required
.deb packages.

- Select the correct binary path or enter it manually.
- Click Next and review dependency check results.
- Click Build after validation completes.
- When the build finishes, click Preview, verify the UI, and exit.
- Upload the required .pem certificate.
- Click Bundle, then click Save (the .pkg file is saved to USB).

Deploy and select the generated .pkg file using WMS or
APT.

- Click Save & Publish, and reboot the device after installation completes.
