Removing the full length expansion card risers
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
- Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
- Remove the GPU air shroud top cover.
- NOTE: If BOSS S2 module is installed, ensure to disconnect the BOSS S2 power cable and Signal cable before removing the Riser 1 cage.

Steps
- To remove expansion card Riser 1A:
- Loosen the captive screws on the riser.
- Press the blue release tab and holding the edges lift the expansion card riser from the riser connector on the system board.
- Disconnect the GPU power cable from the system board.
NOTE:The numbers on the image do not depict the exact steps. The numbers are for representation of sequence.

- To remove expansion card Riser 3A:
- Press the blue button on the riser, and holding the touch points lift the expansion card riser from the riser connector on the system board.
- Disconnect the GPU power cable from the system board.

- To remove expansion card Riser 4A:
- Disconnect the GPU power cable from the system board.
- Loosen the captive screw.
- Press the blue release tab and holding the edges lift the expansion card riser from the riser connector on the system board.
